Player Ranking and Point Calculation Policy
1. Ranking Points per Tournament Placement
Players earn ranking points based on their final placement in each tournament. Points are awarded as follows:
- 1st Place: 100 points
- 2nd Place: 75 points
- 3rd–4th Place: 50 points
- 5th–8th Place: 25 points
- 9th–16th Place: 10 points
- 17th–32nd Place: 5 points
- Participation without placement: 5 points
2. Determination of Final Tournament Placement
Tournaments are conducted in a single-elimination bracket format. A player's final placement is determined by the round in which they are eliminated. Final placement is calculated using the formula: Final Rank = 2^(totalRounds − roundEliminated) + 1
3. Player Statistics Tracked
- Total ranking points accumulated
- Number of tournaments participated in
- Number of tournament victories (1st place finishes)
- Total match wins and match losses
- Win rate percentage: (wins ÷ (wins + losses)) × 100
- Highest placement achieved in any tournament
- Current win streak and longest win streak
4. Leaderboard Ranking Order
Players are ranked by total ranking points (highest first), then by number of tournament wins (highest first).
5. General Purpose
This ranking system is designed to reward consistent tournament participation and strong performance while maintaining detailed match-level player statistics over time.
